This means they get called to see a wide variety of clinical problems in every area of the hospital. The pilot begins with an urgent call to the transplant intensive care unit. A man has taken a tylenol overdose which has caused severe liver damage. He needs a transplant, but his problems with drugs, alcohol and mental health mean he’s a doubtful candidate. It’s decision time, and it’s Kyra’s call.

SYNOPSIS:

She’s new in the job, she’s good at it, but she’s an outsider promoted over the heads of resentful insider establishment figures, and her boyfriend is beginning to doubt his commitment to someone so married to her job.
